Over $1,000 donated to CNF in the name of Joe Krope

The Lisle community lost a long-time resident and business owner, when Joe Krope passed away at the age of 95. Mr. Krope left behind 8 children, 12 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

He also left behind a lot of LHS alums who remember him as an ardent booster of sports at LHS. 

The family business, Krope and Son Heating and Cooling is a fixture in the Tate Woods area of Lisle, at the corner of Schwartz and Ogden.

Tim and Connie (Soloman) Krope (’76) notified the CNF that Mr. Krope had passed away on May 20 and the family would announce in his obituary that those wishing to make a donation, do so to the Carlin Nalley Foundation in the name of Mr. Joseph Krope. 

To date the donations for scholarships to the students of LHS has topped $1,100.  Those who knew Mr. Krope are not surprised that he is still giving to the students at Lisle High.

Joe’s eight kids are daughters Roselyne, Joann, Kathy and Kristen.   The Krope boys are Ron, David, Tim and Mark.
